It looks like Robin, instead of starring in a teleserye on ABS-CBN, will be getting two movies with Star Cinema. After talks fell through on Robin’s inclusion in the Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson-Kris Aquino soap “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo,” he is said to be in negotiations with Star Cinema bosses to just add one more movie into his contract. His first movie is with Toni Gonzaga, and that’s already a go. The second and newest addition to his contract will possibly be a movie pairing with Bea Alonzo. Grabe ang suporta ng ABS-CBN kay Bea ha!
Robin shared his thoughts about his failed inclusion in the teleserye and why he opted out of it: “Nagkaroon na po ako ng ilang teleserye at ako po ay lumigaya, sumaya, napagod sa mga teleserye na ito. Ako, gustung-gusto kong makasama si Kris. Kami ni Kris, nu’ng mga bata kami, marami ka ming pinagsamahan, mapait man o masarap. Eh kaso, marami ring dapat isipin, katulad ng mag-eeleksyon. May mga ganu’n eh. So, huwag na muna siguro sa TV, pelikula muna ako. Kung hindi man matuloy ‘yan, hindi dahil kay Kris ‘yon. Hindi ko siya tinatanggihan. ”
Then he dished about the movies that he’ll be doing with Star Cinema: “Ang gusto ko naman po sana ngayon, kung matutupad po ang mga pa ngako ng Star Cinema, eh matuloy po ‘yung mga pelikulang gagawin ko. Hindi pa sigurado si Bea. Ako, kung puwede sana, silang dalawa eh [Toni and Bea]! Kaya nu’ng pumunta ako sa Star Cinema na in-offer nila si Bea at saka si Toni, sinunggaban ko na! Kasi, lagi na lang akong pinaghihintay eh!

Upon hearing the news that Robin and Bea will be doing a movie from Starcinema we were very excited. But until now the movie didn’t materialize. We all hope that it will push through because super bagay silang dalawa. Every role Bea portrays in the movies and in a soap she gives a 100%. She’s very talented and also Robin is a very good actor.M sure lots of Bea and Robin supporters are very eager to see them in the big screen.We hope and pray that it will start soon.

PASADO Awards, given by a group of educators, has recently honored John LLoyd Cruz for Best Actor (In My Life), Bea Alonzo for Best Actress (And I Love You So) and And I Love You So for Best Picture!
Congratulations to all of them and most especially for a most deserved award for Bea! More will come, let’s be patient for her.
