In the highly anticipated sequel to Twilight, New Moon, stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart lock lips. And Pattinson had to be shirtless for the scene, which prompted the actor to shed some pounds before showing some skin.
“I was just trying to lose like every ounce of body fat so when I took off my shirt, I would look like an alien,” he says. “I thought that kind of worked for the story.”
Pattinson admitted that he didn’t quite know what to make of his new toned physique.
“I was so much more muscular than I had ever been in my life, but I looked weird,” says Pattinson.
New Moon is set for release this November.
