UPDATE: Party Pilipinas is debuting on GMA-7 tomorrow. Excited ka na ba? EARLIER: The creative minds of GMA-7 will have three weeks to prepare the show that they hope to finally beat ASAP as the most-watched Sunday noontime show in the Philippines. “Party Pilipinas,” the new musical variety show that will replace the timeslot vacated by SOP on March 21, isn’t just a rehash of the old SOP dahil the Kapuso network is promising something grander in scale and better in production values. In fact, sa kanilang launch, kakabugin ng Party Pilipinas ang buong kapuluan — with live feeds and performances from locations all over the country.
Ayon sa GMA-7, the new show is a hodgepodge of sorts: with kantahan, sayawan, at may skit pa. Kumbaga, name a theme or a genre, and the new musical variety show will most certainly have them. Ang problema lang siguro dito ay kung malito ang mga manonood kung ano ba talaga ang programa: concert ba, dance showdown, or teleserye?
Party Pilipinas ang napiling title ng Kapuso network sa show dahil may regional component it, at as earlier stated, ang launching ay may simultaneous telecast sa Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, at sa studio ng GMA 7.
SOP hosts Regine, Jaya, Ogie, and Janno will still be part of the whole new show. They will be joined by music industry’s prince and princess of RnB Jay-R and Kyla will still join the four. La Diva composed of Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos, and Maricris Garcia will still continue to make everyone’s Sunday viewing fun by showing more musical production numbers.
Malaki ang nakasalalay na atas for Party Pilipinas, ang talunin ang ASAP na patuloy sa pamamayagpag on ABS-CBN. Ang tanong nalang siguro ay kung kaya ba nilang mapataob ang competition? What do you think?

the issue its not really the station but its about how they perform and make the entertainments industry so well done as far as the entertainers is concern. and i think ASAP MAKE IT THE BEST..as you notice the biggest name in showbiz industry come from ABS.at least GMA did their best to surpass their competitors but the i think they cant really go over with it.
