For Marie Claire’s March 2010 issue, the fashion magazine gave a sneak peak of their interview with Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel, who’are both starring in the upcoming romantic-comedy movie Valentine’s Day and also new buddies. The interview paints Garner as very sweet and accessible and Biel as a little… forced? Check out the sneak peek below!

Garner walks in late and harried in casual garb and apologizes profusely before she cuts herself off to tell Biel how pretty she looks, while Biel neglects to mention she was done up for an appearance on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien (may it rest in peace). Unless that was edited out.

Garner explains that the two romantic comedy stars rarely have the chance to work with other women so they bonded on set. Biel took the opportunity to talk about her work on the A-team.

While Garner orders a glass of wine because the mom of two is so excited to be out, Biel tells her she heard a story about Garner’s 4 year old Violet Affleck.

“One of Violet’s classmates came up to her and said, ‘I heard Jennifer Garner lives in your house.’ And Violet said, ‘No, she doesn’t.’ The other kid kept insisting, so Violet came home and asked you, ‘Mom, who is Jennifer Garner and why are people saying she lives with us?’”

Biel’s story sounds like it catches Garner a little off guard, after all why does Biel know this and why is she telling the reporter? Really cute story though, glad she shared.

The reporter refers to Biel as a woman who “has been able to figure out how to take life seriously without taking herself so”, therefore I’m inclined to think this is in my head. However, their different personalities shine through in the photo spread, where Biel takes on a statuesque goddess air and Garner looks likes she’s always on the verge of a laugh. I don’t really get the prom dress pic, but I love the one of the stars in a yellow and blue Victoria Beckham dresses and the black and white cafe shot.
