It’s not easy to come across a celebrity who started at a young age but manages to remain one of the most sought after dramatic actresses today. Armed with an angelic face and a body that exudes confidence, Angelica Panganiban’s successful career proves that when it rains, it pours. The blessings of the former child actress have been pouring non-stop.

She manages to elevate herself as a mature actress of her generation with her performances on ABS-CBN soap operas namely Maging Sino Ka Man Book 2 and Iisa Pa Lamang. Strapped with acting awards and nominations under her belt, there is more to look forward to for Angelica.

Seeing her comedic side in Banana Split as the popular Crissy, Angelica has landed a lead role in the Philippine adaptation of popular Mexicanovela Rubi. The story is about the main character Rubi, who will stop at nothing to achieve financial stability and her dark ambition will direct the twists and turns around the teleserye. Joining her are Diether Ocampo, Shaina Magdayao and Jake Cuenca.

After her portrayal of a betrayed wife in A Love Story, Angelica is set to prove more of her acting prowess in Star Cinema’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry, I Love You Goodbye. Her latest movie project is soon to be a talk of the town as she plays lead actress torn between two men played by Gabby Concepcion and Derek Ramsay. I Love You Goodbye is her reunion movie with direk Laurice Guillen who also helmed one of her launching movies, Santa-Santita.

Angelica is also seen in TV commercials and on billboards as endorser of The Bar, Amira Skin Whitening, TM-Globe Telecom, FernSlim, Mario D’ Boro, Bench Body and Swatch.

As she turned 23 last Nov. 4, Angelica can’t simply ask for more and all she hopes for is good health. With all the projects lined up for her, there is no doubt that Angelica’s career will continue to soar even higher.

With her teleserye, Rubi premiering early next year, will Angelica Panganiban become the next primetime queen for 2010? Ano sa tingin n’yo?
