GMA7 Denies Part in AGB Nielsen Scandal

GMA-7 on Tuesday dismissed talk it was the television network that allegedly rigged the ratings administered by survey firm AGB Nielsen Media Research.
“The alleged informant of ABS-CBN must be referring to a station other than GMA Network in the case it filed against AGB Nielsen,” it said in a statement.
The statement from ABS-CBN’s informant did not jive with information that GMA was the network alleged as the one that cheated in TV meters installed in some homes in Bacolod City to measure viewership.
GMA’s statement came after ABS-CBN sued AGB Nielsen for the alleged anomalies in the way it conducted ratings on TV programs.
ABS-CBN spokesman Bong Osorio said the network filed a case against AGB Nielsen after discovering “a systematic, organized and well funded attempt” to bribe metered households used to gauge viewer behavior and preference.
“The Filipino people and the entire media industry deserve to know the truth. We in ABS-CBN have discovered what can only be viewed as a systematic, organized and well funded attempt to cheat in the ratings,” ABS-CBN Chairman and CEO Eugenio Lopez III said in a statement.
Osorio said that to measure TV ratings nationwide, meters are installed in randomly sampled households to check the viewing behavior of people in the areas covered. These households are considered as representative after passing statistical standards set by the research agency.
“The identity of these metered households is kept secure so that no outside entity can influence their behavior. This ensures that the ratings that come from these homes reflect their true behavior,” Osorio said.
He said ABS-CBN was approached by a person who confessed that he was hired by another TV network to locate and bribe metered households in Bacolod to switch to a different channel and thus influence TV ratings in that area. ABS-CBN later verified the information with some of the households allegedly approached by the informant.

ABS is just so desperate in pinning down the ratings of GMA7 to the point of maliciously pointing that GMA was all behind the anomalies.. Do (ABS) have proofs that those people are really working for GMA? Were those hired people to do the tamperings hired by ABS themselves to dethrone GMA from being consistently on the top? Shame on you ABS!!!! The more you criticize GMA, the more we see clearly your unfair play!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

ABS is just so desperate to pin down the wallopping ratings of GMA shows to the point of maliciously pointing GMA as the TV network behind all the ratings anomalies! You know guys (ABS), the more you criticize GMA, the more we see clearly how unfair you play!!!

Wahahhaa. GMA is just so desperate and trying hard to come up how well the ABS is. Indeed, they (GMA7) make it to the point that they need to “mamuhunan ng malaking pondo” for the P500 and groceries as “suhol”… ABS have concrete proofs for all of these damn shit doings of GMA7, being behind on the foregoing anomalies need a lot of “Puhonan talaga or pundo” to incure in the expenses. Shame on you GMA7., The more you earn a “Puhunang pundo” for obviously doing secretly the grocery and other pa cute cute efect para to watch their shows the more siSikat keu sa mga SeRBIsyong Pundopundo este Servisyong totoo..

hindi yata nakakintindi na magkaiba yung promotional activities sa pandaraya..? may promotional activties ba na nakatuon langsa mga panl homes nang AGB…? Saka kung gusto nang katothanan nang GMA dapat and dinimanda nila ay AGB din…? Bakit ABS..? Hindi kaya, natatakot ang GMA, kaya and dinimanda nila ay ang Abs at hindi ang AGB..? natatakot ba sila na ibulgar nang AGB na mayroong ngang dayaan..? at ang nasalikod nang dayaan ay ang GMA…? tsk tsk tsk…. kaya hindi magawang sabihan nang masasama nang GMA ang AGB eh… TAKOt sila na lumabas ang BAHO nila..?
saka lagi nilang sinasabi, na hindi nila istilo ang lumaban nang madami…? sino ba ang nasa likod nang mga black propaganda laban sa ABS at sa mga TALENTS nito..? hmmm..? gaya na lang dati noong kay KRIS AQUINO, yung kinasuha sila, dahil sa mga pagpapakalat nila sa E-mail, nang mga ma panirang pahayag kay KRIS…? Hoy! hinayupak JM kung sino ka man wala kang alam sa mga gulo at mukhang tsismoso ka!!!! magpalaki ka na lang ng utak mo sa news at tigilan mo ang magsalita dito sa forum na ito dahil ang mga katulad mo walang pinagaralan huwaga kang mag-comment ng husto sa GMA bayaan mo ang batas ng korte ang siyang magbigay ng lahat ng kalinawan nito at higit sa lahat mag-alis ka ng muta mo o uling ng pagmumukha mo. Wala tayong pare-parehong dapat panigan hanggat hindi pa tapos ang LABAN sa Court. Kaya sa GMA please lang po! pakisuyo LUBUS-LUBUSIN ninyo ang pagbibigay ninyo ng saya sa USA since PATOK na PATOK po kayo dito kahit pa anong sabihin ng ABS since SWAPANG ang mga Iyan lalo na noong nagsisimula pa lang sila sa USA. hanip naman si jm sa rating lang tayo…umabot na siya sa pelikula ….hahaha a person talk too much ay yung mga bobo…bakit ba? nahatulan ba ang GMA ng guilty by the court diba hindi pa…kaya shut up dud…hndi naman masyadong maganda ang mga movie na ipinuproduce ng ABS so far barat pa irn…….Moment of Love panoorin mo dba iiyak ka sabay pa nga kami ni MEGA nun sa p[anunuod eh…S GMA goodluck and Keep up the Good Work….at s ABS gudluck din sna nga the truth will b prevail… Kasi this two station talaga ay nakakatulong in our country sana nga magkakabati na kayo…

at sayo jon, kung nanood man si mega nun, labas yun sa issue, ang sinasabi ko lang how can GMA claims that they are number 1, kung hindi man lang sila makakalahati sa mga box office na tinatamasa nang ABS…?
