To be honest, Mariel is one of the reasons why I decided to concentrate on blogging Pinoy Big Brother once again. I never blogged about the show during the regular season 2 where Bea won. But when I read somewhere that Mariel became an ‘accidental housemate’ of sorts after Kuya made her accompany another housemate to get inside the house and later on did not allow her to get out of the house, I got interested.

I find Mariel as super funny and bubbly. She reminds me of someone, hmmm. Anyway, I’ve always liked her hosting skills and her being emotional. And by being inside the house, what a better way to know her a bit more.

Maybe you should think again and open your eyes on this one. Mariel as talked in forums in pinoybigbrother.com is a “backstabber.” This is not to put her down or anything but the abscbn kept covering up Mariel.

Mariel Rodriguez should be singing “Oops, I Did It Again!” while inside the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house.

Maraming naging issue si Mariel sa first stint niya as special houseguest sa PBB Celebrity Edition Season 2. Matatandaang sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya narinig kung paano niya laitin ang mga contestant ng kinu-co-host niyang noontime show na Wowowee, na mababaho raw ang mga ito. Nasabihan din niyang baduy ang pinanggalingan niyang network na GMA-7, while talking with another ex-Kapuso talent na si Megan Young.

Nang pansamantalang pinalabas si Mariel sa PBB house, humingi siya ng dispensa sa audience sa mga inasal niya—subtly implying that some of the things she’d done ay dahil sa pag-uutos ni Kuya para mailabas ang tunay na ugali ng ibang celebrity housemates.

Friday night, December 28, sa 24/7 live stream ng PBB, pagkarami-rami ang nag-react sa pagmumura ni Mariel sa celebrity housemate na si Riza Santos habang lasing na nakikipag-usap ang PBB co-host kay Ethel Booba.

In the middle of the stag party with a Reggae theme for Ruben Gonzaga, na ikakasal pagkalabas sa Bahay ni Kuya, na-focus ang camera sa pag-uusap nina Mariel at Ethel. Ang isa pang co-housemate nilang si Will Devaughn ang subject ng usapan nila na tumakbo ng ganito:

ETHEL: Nakatingin ako kay Will, e. Hopeless na.
MARIEL: Hindi ka hopeless.
ETHEL: Gusto ko siya.
MARIEL: Totoo na ito?

(Tumango si Ethel.)

MARIEL: Pu–ng inang virgin na ‘to (Riza). Pu__ng ina talaga! Pu_i siya. Ki_i ng ina niya!

Biglang na-cut ang live feed sa aktong magwawala na yata si Mariel.

Sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya, sina Mariel at Ethel ang naging magkasangga. Si Riza ang pinagtuunan ng galit ni Mariel dahil maganda ang samahan ng beauty queen with Will, na crush naman ni Ethel.

Hindi pa bumabalik ang live feed nang tumawag at nag-text ang mga sources namin ng balitang ito Biyernes ng hatinggabi.

Ano naman kayang paliwanag ang gagawin ngayon ni Mariel sa naging asal niyang ito sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya? Ano rin kaya ang magiging reaksiyon ni Kuya at ng manager ni Mariel na si Boy Abunda?
